Free catching-up serviceWe are more than just accountants
AccountsHelp is an established accountancy practice based in south east London. We believe most professional services are better delivered online, and we have built the practice around that. Our clients run businesses all over the United Kingdom, not only in and around Bromley.
We give small businesses and entrepreneurs the tools and the proactive advice they need to grow as planned, with a tax structure that is efficient and properly documented.
- Honest and transparent fees, so nothing lands at the year end
- All-inclusive fixed monthly fees at competitive rates
- Phone, email or video call, with face to face meetings on request
Honest and transparent, which means no year-end surprises
Most complaints about accountants come down to the bill. We agree an all-inclusive fixed monthly fee at the start, and anything outside it is quoted before the work is done.

Questions people ask before choosing an accountant
How much does an accountant cost for a small business?
Our fixed monthly fees start at £20 per month for a straightforward sole trader, £60 per month for a small limited company with turnover up to £80,000, and £70 per month for a contractor. A one-off Self Assessment return is £125 and one-off company accounts with a corporation tax return are £350. Every fee is all inclusive and agreed before we start.
Where is AccountsHelp based and do you work outside London?
Our office is at Regus, One Elmfield Park, Bromley BR1 1LU in south east London. We work online with clients across the whole of the United Kingdom, so where you are based does not restrict what we can do. Face to face meetings are available in Bromley if you want one.
Are your fees fixed, or do costs appear at the year end?
Our fees are fixed and all inclusive, which means there are no hidden charges at the year end. Anything outside the agreed package, such as extra bookkeeping hours, is quoted before the work is done.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. The first consultation carries no obligation and no charge. We go through your circumstances, tell you which services you actually need, and quote a fixed fee. If we are not the right fit we will say so.
How do I switch from my current accountant?
Contact us and we take it from there. We write to your existing accountant for professional clearance and your records, register as your agent with HMRC, and take over your filing calendar. As an introductory offer we bring your accounting and tax affairs up to date free of charge.
Which accounting software do you work with?
We are partners with Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent, and we can work from a simple Excel system where that suits you better. QuickBooks online bookkeeping is included free on our Essential Plus package.
What qualifications does AccountsHelp hold?
AccountsHelp is an AIA Member in Practice. We also work alongside Sipher Accounting and Tax Limited, which is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Association of Taxation Technicians, so clients get the benefit of both practices.
What kinds of business do you work with?
Small and medium sized limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, freelancers, contractors and landlords. Our client base covers catering and hospitality, online retail, engineering and manufacturing, healthcare including dental and care homes, off licences, recruitment, restaurants and the legal sector.
